KNEE INJURY AND PAIN :- Knee pain is a common problem that can originate in any of the bony structure compromising the knee joint ( Tibia , Fibula , Patella) , the knee cap (Patella) or the Ligament and Cartilage (Meniscus ) of the knee . Knee pain can affect people of all age group.
Knee pain is caused by :-
Sudden injury eg. Strain ,Sprain , Road traffic accident .
Overuse injury eg. Sports injury .
Underlying condition eg. Osteoarthritis , Bursitis , Gout
KNEE SPRAIN : – A knee sprain occurs when one or more ligaments in your knee are suddenly stretched or torn. Ligaments are tissues that hold bones together. Ligaments support the knee and keep the joint and bones in the correct position. OSTEOARTHRITIS :- Osteoarthritis is a joint disease and more affected weight bearing joint .
